About Sister Mary
With a love for all things Mexican, colorful, fun, and from a vibrant culture that South of the border is so known for, Sister Mary was created. My desire is to bring new life to the old traditional, yet wonderful style of the Mexican dress which is the basis for the collection. Incorporating the rich embroideries onto printed and patterned fabrics as well as vivid and unusual solid color combinations. These added touches give you that special unexpected newness to those traditional looks that have lived on through generations.
Sister Mary is proudly named after my sister, Mary for who I have shared a lifetime of memories creating many things together from our early childhood. She continues to be one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I hope to inspire a bit of “spice to your life” and every day a “Fiesta” each time you wear a Sister Mary.
